Detroit’s Disneyland

“The world is but a canvas to our imagination.” – Henry David Thoreau.

In #Detroit, there is a place called #Disneyland that was created in someone’s backyard. The music doesn’t play and the lights don’t turn on anymore but this amazing soul understood that you can make anything you dream come to life.

With a little imagination, and a bit of hard work, you can turn a little house and an empty alley way into a portal to another world. You can put a smile on someone’s face or help them get lost in something beautiful.

A backyard, a street sidewalk, an empty canvas, a blank page – look around you and dream big. Put your creative stamp out in the world however you can. Let your voice be heard. Flap wildly in the wind. Dance with joy. Let your imagination run free. And know, that the world will be a better place because of it.11999659_10107274352056984_8527587981895443293_o
